Clinton (Hell’s kitchen)
Approximate Boundaries
Northern/Southern Borders: 59th Street—42nd Street
Eastern/Western Borders: 8th Avenue—the Hudson River
Clinton, as home to Times Square, “Theatre Row”, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and Madison Square Garden, is arguably the New York City that most “Out- of-Towners” envision.
What was originally a rough and tough working class Irish-American enclave is now a safe yet simultaneously pulsating neighborhood, with innumerable options of things to do and see.
Due in large part to the renovation of the seedy elements of this region (i.e. the cleaning up of the Red-Light-District), Clinton has become a multi-generational, both residential and commercial area, with a wide array of housing and corporate building options.
Continued/increasing construction of the previously sparsely developed land running towards the Hudson River likewise is making this neighborhood an excellent investment option for potential property buyers.
