Midtown West
Midtown West is quickly emerging as the gateway to Columbus Circle. A vast number of luxury apartment buildings have gone up in the last 5 years, with a dozen more currently in the works. With the opening of the Time Warner Center at 1 Columbus Circle, an armada of new luxury shops, restaurants and corporate offices have sprouted up to attract many of the SoHo, and 5th Ave Shoppers, residents and tourist alike. In the areas closer to the West Side Highway, many new smaller walkup and elevator tenements have been renovated or newly constructed.
